In Scene of the Crime, we're slowly dragged into the inevitable, with pretty good & usual storytelling, as the man said "It wasn't a unique tragedy by any means, but it was still a tragedy."
When we knew about his eye, it's funny when he said "most people don't notice right away" like he's pointing his words to us, and going back to the whole part one, we can barely see his face. Most of the characters we can see their faces, but it's not the case with him, we see only one side, or the dark hiding the pain from us. All of that, formed a really good bond, to read the full story, because we ultimately have a connection, a good one.
.................
One of the notes is that the dialogues are mostly long to fit between the events, so I thought little more details would be better.
Maybe now I started to put too many quotes, but seeing the dialogues in general they get pretty GOOD in conversations, where it's honest, just between true damaged people, filled with mistakes & anger.
"No .. people's pain is all relative, it's not judged against other people. You can only experience your own life, and believe me, there's no shame in that."
................
In the second part, we go through the shock and questioning
everything until we reach the points of this part ... unworthy of respect, the
cost of mistakes and falling.
"I could feel the ground slipping out from under my
feet."
In the third part, the really good thing about it is that we
can see clearly the damages, and it’s like in my mind I can almost figure out
what happened, but I don't let it across my expectations, the ugly truth ..
damages everywhere.
"Her hate was a kind I knew well, and there was no
amount of rain or tears that would wash it away."
.................
In the end, this is not a unique story as the writer said in
a way, but in the part of emotions? Gorgeous!
"I didn't mean to hurt you, I was just lost. You deserved better, we all deserved better. But in the end, you just have whatever you got, and you have to sort out the pieces & MOVE ON..."
