The Fade Out, Act One

I just want to say this first, I was feeling like I never saw anything like this before, like somehow it's new to me, I was alive .. like a child, like an outcast they just invited, like ... these two never cease to amaze me.

Just Wow!

Act One: The Making of Entertainment

Hollywood, this was one ugly place, and still is. To be in it means you must put your head into the mud and keep smiling ... because that's the meaning of entertainment. Or at least that's the truth behind it, whether we like it or not.

I can't imagine my admire to the mixing, between a solid classic atmosphere, to a series of imaginations that the characters create, so I can live inside their heads, and truly feel the lost, frustration and the most glorious moments & wishes for them.

We have a good number of characters, different & interesting. But once we start to know them we discover a funny fact, most of them, they're all the same .. driven by ambition & silly fantasies. With a gorgeous drawing, there's this constant & powerful visualization that keeps the whole Act as a fine work of art.

But as far as the story concern, great from the thrilling start, to the middle where we begin to figure out how everything works, in this corner, in this empire of money & beauty .. the writers tried to create a background in every aspect. Even with some funny lines, there's behind it a small story, to give each one a real & true character, we can put it in a front of a mirror and feel it's real. Like the one with Betty Davis .. I laughed like an idiot.

But beyond the different little stories here and there, we have the main one, just a series of reminders, piled up on top of each other, all the chances you had to not mess it up.

This is only the beginning, and I'm in for a treat.

Again, I can't think of a way to express how the colors are formed, I adore this kind of combining for colors, especially when it means something. Looking forward to Act Two & Three.

Because this is ART, at its best ...
