A third wow, to the third act .. the final look of a well executed story. My love and everything.
Act Three: Where Angels Fear to Tread
The most unbelievably harsh thing is .. "We're just speculating here" I mean, you see? There's no certainty, no OK, nothing. We're drowning with "maybes" .. where it's the only truth you can get. And sometimes, this is the most painful truth about the "truth"
We're just going to keep carrying that weight.
"... others like Charlie, missing things you couldn't see."
We reached to the heavily weighted feelings, and they're being dropped over the heads of many in this story, I meant including us of course. Where the meaning of the truth could lead us to the void of our souls, all the chances, all the damages .. all the tears, everything that made us who we are, we can barely look at it.
Any part included Valeria is a good part, because I was anxious to see what sort of bonds they had, what kind of connection & understanding and many other questions. But at this moment ... it was everything, like it's the farthest levels of emotions between them ... "Just holding each other, like little kids trying to sleep through a thunderstorm."
There're these little familiar worlds created by Ed & Sean where they develop their ways in a really amazing way, like Scene of the Crime. Well, at least in some ways.
The marvelous about The Fade Out is that they didn't need to flip the "Oh my god" card that much, not many surprises to keep you reading the whole story, it's like "You love this world? then you gonna love this, no matter what"
For a dude like me, I've never imagined any power the comics had in these kinds of stories, specifically here, because the amount of elements is enormous, unlike any other category, here you really need to create a slow but interesting story, just like in films. And to know when to give your cards away and when to hold them. And the atmosphere is a whole different thing, and the attitude or the persona is very important .. and here? outstanding view, colors & art. Where my admiration can't find a way to let it all go ...
In the end? An absolute perfection!
"The bad dream of a life... lived in hell... and he wants to scream, but he doesn't."
